Welcome 2012 .. (MS Paint) : A tribute to 2011 and welcoming 2012

Welcome 2012... Just an imagination of 2012 new year. This was drawn. The people in the image are in 2012 formation. This was drawn just to be out of the crowd when ample of new year wishes and images were forwarded. This is little unique to me as it was something of my own imagination.

Neelkanth.. The Mahadev.. Inspired from the Shiva trilogy.. Amish Tripathi is an Indian author. He is known for his novels The Immortals of Meluha, The Secret of the Nagas and The Oath of the Vayuputras. The three books collectively comprise the Shiva Trilogy. The Shiva Trilogy has become the fastest selling book series in the history of Indian publishing --- (Source Wikipedia) This drawing is an inspiration from those books. Needed to depict Shiva silhouette as I couldn't do justice giving him face of my own. Done in MS paint windows 7 version.

The Secret of Nagas.. (MS Paint)

Inspired from the second book of Shiva trilogy .. The Secret of Nagas. The Secret of the Nagas is the second novel of the Shiva trilogy series by the Indian author Amish Tripathi. The story takes place in the imaginary land of Meluha and narrates how the inhabitants of that land are saved from their wars by a nomad named Shiva. It begins from where its predecessor, The Immortals of Meluha Hence the Naga.. from my own imagination.

Just another try in shades... its little tough to imply shades in Ms paint, and this took me some time to learn. However as said, it only comes with practice and indeed I need to do a lot more..so here goes one more addition to the MS paint album (MS Paint Win 7)

Ram.. (MS Paint)

The emperor Ram. Done in Ms paint win xp. This was a bit more colorful when in png format , lost some luster after converting to Jpeg format. Worth a try.. however in win P version the undo can be done only thrice and this was little difficult. But i believe I did some justice to the Ayodhya Price.(MS Paint win xp)

This was just a practice of strokes using the brush tool in MSpaint win 7. The effects are great but still the drawing needs perfection. Long way to go .. this is just a start.
